Boston Community ESOL Center

The Boston Community ESOL Center is committed to providing the most effective ESL/ESOL and literacy programs possible.  Achieving this objective requires supporting the students beyond the classroom, delivering engaging lessons, and having excellent instructors.

 

Since the challenges faced by these community members are numerous and interrelated, our model is to work with existing support networks to address the needs of specific communities when delivering ESL/ESOL training.  This minimizes how much factors outside of the classroom affect student performance inside of the classroom. 

 

Additionally, we collaborate with partners to connect students with accessible opportunities after taking ESL/ESOL classes.  We aim to maximize our engagement with our students once courses have ended to help secure positive outcomes and opportunities for them such as employment coaching, job placement, and continuing education programs.
