Community Instructor Development Program
The Community Instructor Development Program offers free, remote professional development sessions for English language instructors. The program aims to provide a space for community instructors to further develop skills in lesson planning, classroom management and engagement in a virtual classroom environment, while collaborating with fellow instructors.

Program sessions are offered once a month via Zoom and are open to new or experienced teachers. During each session, 1-2 instructors present a short mock lesson while other instructors participate in lesson activities as “students” in the classroom. Lessons should be formatted to be taught through Zoom or other online learning methods. Each presentation is followed by about 10 minutes of discussion and feedback to improve any aspect of the lesson.
